Master of Health Studies Student

Rylee Restoule is a proud Ojibwe-Kwe from Dokis First Nation, and a Francophone living in rural Northern Ontario.

She recently graduated from Trent University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology specializing in Health Sciences in 2023 and is currently pursuing a Master of Health Studies specializing in Health Research with Athabasca University. Throughout her studies, Rylee has developed a passion for Indigenous health equity in policy.

Rylee sits on the Indigenous Health Advisory Board and the Patient & Family Advisory Board at HSN. Alongside these positions, she is the Professional Development Coordinator in the Labour Market Development Department at Anishinabek Nation. Rylee has also been researching health equity measures in clinical settings alongside physicians and hospital executive staff.

Rylee is eager to contribute to the development of the health equity landscape in Northern Ontario through clinical and policy research.
