Research Intern

Meghan is a Research Intern within the Equity and Inclusion portfolio at NOSM University and works in conjunction with the Dr. Gilles Arcand Center for Health Equity, focusing primarily on the NOURISH project. Most recently, Meghan completed a graduate diploma in Research and Evaluation from Fanshawe College. Meghan has previously received an Honours BA. in Philosophy from Nipissing University and a Masters Degree in Philosophy from the University of Western Ontario. Meghan wrote her Master's research project on improving healthcare in Northern Ontario and the importance of community consultation. She is very excited to be working with a center focused on the improvement of health in the North and with such a strong mandate for social accountability. Her other research interests are feminist bioethics, meta-ethics, disability rights and inclusion, and travel ethics.

Meghan currently lives in her hometown of Sudbury, Ontario. When not working she enjoys traveling, creating, and staying active through activities like rock climbing, aerial yoga, and triathlon.
