Student Research Assistant

Charlie Compton is a Health Sciences student at the University of Ottawa and a Student Research Assistant with the All-Nations Health Partners, supporting the evaluation of the Rural Generalist Council Care model. Raised in Kenora, Charlie's roots in Northwestern Ontario and previous work here have shaped a deep commitment and passion to health equity and community-centered care in the region.

Charlie has worked with the Dr. Gilles Arcand Centre for Healthy Equity since 2024, doing volunteer research assistant duties on various projects and illustrating a cover page for a report.

Charlie is very passionate about patient-centered care, with a culturally safe and Trauma-Informed approach. Outside of research, she enjoys being on Lake of the Woods, spending time with family and friends, and painting!
