Brandyn is working with the Dr. Gilles Arcand Centre for Health Equity as part of the final practicum of his Master of Nursing - Advanced Nursing degree. He has been a nurse for nearly a decade, working primary on the neurosurgical unit and has occupied roles in both leadership and education in recent years. He currently works as a Clinical Scholar Nurse, helping support transition to practice for nurses at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. Among many other topics, he is interested in healthcare ethics, professional identity, health workforce sustainability, and recovery after brain injury. Brandyn is working with Dr. Erin Cameron and her team with a focus on patient-oriented research.
In his free time, Brandyn enjoys long hikes through the area’s parklands, spending time with friends and family, and enjoying a good book and a coffee.
