Allison is a third-year medical student at NOSM University, currently engaged in research through the Dr. Gilles Arcand Centre for Health Equity. Her research interests sit at the intersection of innovation and medical education, with a particular focus on the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies across the continuum of medical training. Building on her work with the Ontario Medical Student Association, where she collaboratively advocated for the standardized development and inclusion of AI curricula, Allison is exploring how emerging AI technologies are currently utilized, barriers to integration in medical education, and opportunities to enhance learning for future physicians in a tech-enabled healthcare landscape. As an active member of the NOSMU Student Council, Allison is committed to equity of opportunity in medical education, with specific interest in expanding access to educational resources, career pathways, and innovation opportunities for medical learners in Northern Ontario. In her spare time, Allie volunteers with Camp Quality Northwestern Ontario, spends time with loved ones, and watches any documentary that she can get her hands on.
