Mohamed Elhassan Abdalla Elsayed, MB.BS,MHPE, PhD, FAcadMed., is a senior lecturer in medical education at School of Medicine, Faculty of Education and Health Sciences, University of Limerick. His research interests in medical education are in the areas of social accountability of medical schools, teaching and learning, ccreditation, and cost and value. His current projects concern the determinants of social accountability of medical schools in the Eastern Mediterranean, and the role of service learning in promoting social accountability.
